Fans have been asking about the Super-Saloon class and will be excited to know that they will make a return to Baypark Speedway on the 18th of February as a support class to the North Island Sprintcar Championship.

The Super-Saloons have been away since January on tour around tracks in the South Island competing in the Xtreme Dirt Series held over 2 weeks and 5 different tracks.

The series was won by our very own Sam Waddell and also the current 2NZ Chris Cowling also made the podium.

Ricky Boulton from Speedway New Zealand requested a release for all drivers so they could compete in the series with the promise of the event to be held in the North Island next season.

Following that drivers then decided to keep the cars south to prepare for this weekends national title held at Beachlands Speedway.
