When did you start racing and how did you get into it?
I began racing in 2019/20 with the F2 Midget class, this season will be my 3rd season in the class after a few seasons off racing. My Father Junior (Craig) Browne raced at Western Springs Speedway for many years before I was born, so speedway has always been apart of my life. I have been lucky enough to crew for Shayne Alach for a few seasons in my late teens. Before embarking on my own journey starting with the F2 Midget class
What classes have you run over the years?
I’ve only ever raced in the F2 Midget class, I did a small stint in go karts for around 1 year at the age of 10. But besides that my only ever experience in racing has been on dirt with the F2s
What are you most proud of in your racing career?
Im proud of the improvements we have made each season since being racing in the F2 class, but also having the best crew, family, friends and sponsors who give me me the opportunity to live this dream of driving racecars
What titles have you received while racing?
No titles yet but hoping to win some racing and titles soon
What is your all-time favourite track to race at and why?
Would have to be Baypark Speedway. Its wide, its fast and it has such an amazing atmosphere in and around the stadium. Its truly one of the best tracks in the country
What are you currently doing in the off-season and how do you prepare mentally and physically for this sport?
My sponsor Racefit provides me with meal plans and training programmes to better my physical and mental fitness all year round. On and off the track
What do you hope to achieve this season?
Our aim is to try and get a podium finish and just finish as many races as possible. All whilst having fun and enjoying the time we all spend together
What characteristics do you think are important to becoming successful in racing?
Patience, endurance and determination

What is happening with your car in the off-season any major changes we should look out for once the season starts?
Thanks to Vinnie this season we have a fresher motor which is absolutely unreal. Without him we wouldn’t be able to race, combined with our fast CP3X Chassis by Tim at Clark Performace.
Speedway racing can be fast and dangerous, looking out toward the fans, what do you think is one thing the fans will never understand until they are behind the wheel of a race car?
You really learn to respect the cars and the speed. It’s something you don’t understand until your in the drivers seat and a lot of people from the outside looking in think that racing speedway is so easy. But there’s a lot of things you learn once your behind the wheel
What is your favourite race on the NZ race calendar?
This season for us I’m really looking forward to our race at Gisborne Speedway. It’s a New track for the F2s and we are really excited to get there and see what we can do
Who do you admire most in motorsport and why?
There are a few people I admire. But the person I would say I admire the most would be Shayne Alach. Because he’s was so talented behind the wheel, he’s a perfectionist, he’s precise and his driving skills were incredible. These were all things I learned when crewing for him towards the end of his career and he still helps we with my racing to this day. I’m beyond grateful for his and the Alach Speed teams support and advice
What do you think of the changes and the way direction the speedway is moving at Baypark?
I think it’s great, Baypark has really evolved and are making good changes every year. It’s really elevated the performance on and off the track of the speedway. All competitors are lucky to be able to race at Baypark Speedway

Tell us about your sponsors, what kind of business they run, and the support you get from them.
We have many sponsors who do a lot for us, we are so lucky to have them all apart of our racing. We have a lot of sponsors involved in the automotive industry. From panel beating, painting, tyres, car sales, autoparts ect.
We know sponsors play a big part but so do crews and families, tell us about your support team.
My crew, partner, family and friends all go above and beyond to support me and my racing. Without them my career would never exist im so happy and proud to have them all by my side.
Do you have any final words for the fans
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me throughout my racing career thus far. I’m excited to see where it take me next and I can’t wait to have you along for the ride !
