We all know about the awesome foursome of American Midget Car drivers heading to Baypark on the 28th and we have four more to announce in our support classes

* Sprintcars Shane van Gisbergen Jonathan Allard

* Saloons Caddyshack Racing Steve Williams Chris Cowling

Yes, SVG will be racing on the 28th for the United Truck Parts Sprintcar team. We know already that this is huge for the fans, the sport, and the drivers. Now without the title hanging over his head, the champ will be able to relax a bit more into the racing and enjoy every lap.

The Saloons already have 23 drivers on the list with more being added and one, in particular, will be the man and legend himself Steve Williams who will return to the clay of Baypark Speedway.

Steve is well known for his involvement in both Saloons and Super-Saloons, his hard work with charity events, and a lot of racing series he puts on for the classes and many tracks in the country. We can’t wait to welcome him home.

Also running on the night for the first time this season is the Daltons 0USA of Jonathan Allard bringing international quality to a 30-car field, JA is always hard to beat at Baypark and I’m sure the 28th will be the same.

Making his first appearance this season will be the New Zealand Saloon Car Champion Chris Cowling in the 1nz this is huge and exciting with the NZ Champs just around the corner.
