The Speedway New Zealand championships are back in full swing this season and of course Baypark Speedway is proud to host two of them on our brand new track.

The first to see the green flag will be the North Island Sprintcar Championship which promises to bring a huge field of entries after the success of The Bay Summer Starter opening night held just last weekend.

This will be contested on Saturday 10th December and the entry form can be found right here

Then in 2023 over two nights the New Zealand Saloon Car Championship will roar around the red terracotta of Baypark Speedway, the event will be held over two days January the 13th and 14th and already interest from the North and South Islands have been expressed.

The Saloon Cars will make their first appearance at Baypark, at our next event which is the 5th of November The Bay Super Bowl Fireworks Extravaganza.
