The stars of the future will kick off the season this year at a band new time of 6pm when the class features on the calendar. As they are only considered to be a demonstration class this means we can run them earlier and we do hope to get in at least 2 of their races between 6pm and 6:30pm leaving race 3 for later on in the evening. This will allow us more time to get the race events on the night done before curfew.

So far to date we have 14 cars registered to Baypark and a total of 26 will hit the clay on opening night with drivers from Stratford, Gisborne, Rotorua, Auckland and Kihikihi joining our M drivers for the Bay Summer Starter. Prize giving is planned for the youngsters in the clubrooms after the event with a new DON award (Driver on Night) up for grabs as well.
