They’re the ones in hi-vis at the gate welcoming fans with a smile, the officials and class reps keeping everything running smoothly, the infield team and photographers working through dust and danger, the pit gate crew making sure drivers are safe and ready, the track prep crew giving us a race-worthy surface, and the safety team — trained, experienced, and first on the scene when something goes wrong. These people don’t do it for recognition or reward — they do it because they genuinely love the sport.
