With just 4 months to go until the first green flag drops at Baypark Speedway, race teams are well underway with their preparations for the new season. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, our office team is working tirelessly to ensure an unforgettable season.

We are deep into planning, holding meetings around town to finalize the new calendar, scheduling exciting events, and ensuring this season surpasses last year’s, which earned us a nomination for Speedway of the Year at the Speedway New Zealand Awards. Our efforts include securing sponsorships and making crucial track upgrades, such as installing new floodlights that will illuminate the action like never before.

Drivers are already registering new numbers, and we’re thrilled to see the enthusiasm build. We aim to surpass last year’s impressive 121 registrations. Though four months might seem like a long time, it will fly by, and soon we’ll be in the thick of it all.
