In the realm of open-wheel racing, Buddy requires little introduction, having clinched victories in both the World of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint car series this year. His accolades include two-time USAC Midget Champ, Prelim Chili Bowl winner, and BC39 champion, underscoring his prowess on the track. Now, Way Motorsport is thrilled to announce Buddy’s return behind the wheel of the 2USA Midget, and his extensive achievements make him the ideal candidate for this high-octane endeavor.

Buddy’s racing journey has taken him around the globe, and in 2019, he toured New Zealand in a Sprint car, emerging as the national champion after conquering the South Island at the tender age of 18. He was the youngest driver to win a sprint car A-Main in the New Zealand National Sprint Car Series in 2013, at 11-years old.

Last season, he showcased his skills in the North, racing a Midget for Way Motorsport at Baypark Speedway. While facing tough competition in the Bay Superstars 30 Lapper, Buddy engaged in an epic battle with Justin Grant (USA) and Micheal Pickens (NZ), ultimately securing a podium finish. Eager to build on that performance, Buddy aims to ascend even higher in the upcoming season.

Notably, Buddy will make history as the first international driver to compete in the Bay51 Midget Spectacular, the longest and most prestigious event on the midget calendar, offering a substantial $5000 prize for the winner. The anticipation is palpable, and fans eagerly await the unveiling of the new Bullet by Spike and Speedway Toyota car design in the coming weeks, anticipating Buddy’s triumphant return to the track.
